It is with great sadness that we share the passing of longtime Springbrook Golf & Country Club member James Louie “Jim” Gilliam.
Jim was a member of Springbrook for more than 50 years—an extraordinary legacy that made him much more than a member of our club. He was part of the Springbrook family and part of the history of this special place.
When someone spends more than half a century as part of a club, they become woven into its story. Generations of friendships, rounds of golf, conversations in the clubhouse, and countless memories remain long after the scorecards are put away. We are incredibly grateful that Springbrook was a part of Jim’s life for so many years.
Our hearts and prayers are with the Gilliam family and all those who knew and loved Jim.
His family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, and we encourage our Springbrook family to join us in remembering and honoring one of our longtime members.
Rest peacefully, Jim. Your place in the history of Springbrook Golf & Country Club will always be remembered. ⛳️
